Services from Trekerwys Stud
Here at Trekerwys, we offer a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for working and training horses. Our small family run yard is home to some of our own horses and we have vacancy for up to three others at any one time.
We can provide the following services:
- Breaking & schooling
- Producing ponies for the show ring - in-hand or ridden
- Preparation for sale
- Trimming & clipping
- Exercising - hacking & schooling
Our team has hads a great deal of experience in both producing stock for the ring and showing. Jonathan has been showing ponies in-hand for over twelve years with wins at county level and a string of WPCS medals to his name. Jenna has been successful in the show ring with many ridden championships and this year a mountain and moorland qualification to Horse of the Year Show. She has also studied at university and has completed both a foundation degree in Equine Behaviour and Training and a degree in Animal Science (Equine).
We also offer a comprehensive showing service:
- Preparatory schooling & training - for ridden or in-hand classes
- Trimming
- 'On the day preparation and grooming
- Showing ponies to reach the very highest placing possible.
